This week, I lost 1lb. I’m pleased with that. But more importantly, I did lots of things I’m proud of.
I think we get so tied down in results that we often forget that just the actual method of doing something is good. Even if we don’t lose weight once week, we’re making our bodies healthier and that’s worth celebrating. The things I’m proud of this week include:
- doing exercise (the 30 Day Shred and yoga) even when I was really tired and didn’t want to
- making a healthy, tasty meal rather than relying on cheap and easy convenience food
- drinking two litres of water across a day
- making healthy choices at restaurants and meals out
I challenge you all to make a list of things you’re proud of this week. Focus on the details, not the end result. There’s magic on the details
