On Monday I woke up early and started a Weight Watchers online account. I then ate a lollipop, a burger and fries, a triple chocolate cookie, a bowl of ravioli and some cheese.
On Tuesday I cancelled my Weight Watchers account and rejoined Slimming World.
I rejoined WW because I felt in a way like I deserved punishment for being fat and should do something I don’t like doing. This is a stupid way to think. I have done nothing wrong and don’t deserve punishment, and weight-loss won’t work properly if I feel angry and resentful of it. So I joined the thing I know I love, but with an added incentive of a class to keep me going.
So far I’ve done okay. I guess you’ll have to watch Twitter at about 6pm on Tuesday to see how I really do in my first week…
